Monica has a problem-solving mind in a ceaseless search for innovative ideas to uncover new business opportunities, different possibilities and creative ways to impact communities. She is driven by change and team work. These characteristics have allowed her to compile a myriad of experiences, navigating throughout different markets.
Monica led teams to conduct field research in Colombia and Dominican Republic while working as Project Development Manager for Voike, a start-up company in Miami, FL. She was also responsible for quality control of products developed for Sony Music-Latin American Division.
Her passion for public policy and campaign management thrusted her to conquer several roles in the political arena working for the Puerto Rico Electoral Commission, Democratic Party of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico 2016 Primaries, President of the Senate of Puerto Rico, and for a renowned RRP Law firm.
During her college years, she was selected among hundreds of applicants for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Internship Program in Washington D.C. Additionally, and she was 1 out of 10 college students to receive the William Jefferson Clinton Scholarship for the American University in Dubai. She obtained a B.S. in Economics with a minor in Political Science from the University of Texas, Arlington.
